Royal Gold, a multiple Champion Producer, was an importer's personal herdsire selection in the last Peruvian importation in 1998. His reproducibility is undeniable! He consistently stamps out his presence, his trademark head with small spear-shaped ears and long lashes. He has proven to improve fineness and crimp.
Royal gold consistantly produces crias with Ultra fine fleece. Mostly under b18 micron at the first shearing. One of his latest cria's fiber measured only 14.3 AFD and a Curve (crimp) of 56.9 Phenomenal!
He has sired countless Champions and show winning offsprings. Royal Gold has produced all colors, including black and grey. Always award winning crias. He exhibits a wide chest and strong hind quarters on a proportional 150# frame. His crias exhibit his regal presence which is noticeable from birth.
As a 12 year old breeding male, Royal Gold's AFD is still only 22.5. His mean curvature recently dropped below 50 and is now at 46 deg/mm. Impressive!

Royal Gold is now 13 years old and his fleece has never gone over 23 microns. His curve droped below 50 on his 12th year histogram. Still shears over 10 lbs.
He produces extremely fine, densely bundled crias with great head style, coverage and presence.
