Who we are...
We are a small ranch, dedicated to breeding quality Huacaya alpacas and committed to improving fineness and handle of fiber, correctness of confirmation,
and gentle temperaments. We are achieving our goal through the selective breeding of our exceptional girls to the top herd sires in the country. Our lines currently include the legendary Bueno, Royal Fawn, Wellington, Maple Brook Andre, Maple Brook Pendleton and CCNF Cuzco.
Golden Fleece Alpacas is currently located in Massachusetts.
What's in a name?
The inspiration for our name was drawn from the famous Greek legend of Jason and the Argonauts, who spent years searching for the Golden Fleece. As legend tells, when Jason
came of age he wanted to claim his rightful throne, and to prove he was a true hero, he
set out on a perilous journey to find the elusive Golden Fleece. Jason and the argonauts searched for years, surviving numerous perils and enduring many hardships before finally finding the wondrous golden fleece. His courage secured his place in history as a hero.
